Wonder if you guys are eager to know about my 5D4N trip .
Lemme see if I can still remember what I did .
First day
Everyone were excited . I was in Group4, MUN SHI.
Team mates were Wang Shi, Cynthia, Flarida, Angela, Natalia, Wee Kiat,
Hzi Hzin fatso can't spell his name , Ken, Yu Lun, Nigel, Edmund, Zhao Jun,
Guang Yi and Mark.
Ah well , at first hated the grouping so much but realised slowly that some are real
helpful and nice . Thank god Wang's in my group cause I was praying all the while .
Darnnnnnn Michael Wid never come if not he's also in my group too .
Was really disappointed the first day cause the entire day was just briefing,
briefing and more briefing. Other groups did Jetty Jump and other activities -.-
Night time was the WORST . We slept pretty deep in the forest on a hill top .
We could feel rocks under our backs . Sheeesh . And it was melting hot .
Joanna and Joshua crept into Wang and my tent and we talked and shared ghost stories.
Joshua fucked off and Joanna is left to sleep with us .
Second Day.
Ugh, was woken up at 4am plus. But I was fresh when I woke up as I was still
pretty excited . Unpitching tent in the dark forest was definitely hard work .
Our group just could not get along cause some people just refuse to help and slack.
We ate our not delicious not full rations for breakfast. Pitied myself back then .
*thinks.....*
Oh then we did belaying and rock wall climbing. Our group and Group 3 were
really late already and we had to trek in the forest to camp site 2 where the sec 1s were.
TREK IN THE FOREST FROM 7PM TO 9PM WITHOUT ANY SOURCE OF LIGHT .
To me, it felt like a really fun adventure . The front two people will pass the message
down if there's any obstacles and to avoid them . We just felt our way around .
It's fun but I forgot to mention that individuals carry about 5 kg+ of stuff in the
camping bag and it was really hot so were were soaked in sweat .
Reached camp site 2 and we had our dinner . (Maggie and canned food cooked by group)
Didn't shower that night leh . But I still smell so good .
Third Day
Holy cow, it was the MOST TIRING DAY .
LAND EXPEDITION .
started our journey around 10.30 with Edmund being the navigator.
Just want to say , Edmund really deserves credit . He was never so, so leader-ish
before in my eyes, NEVER . Really admire that fella with such good map skills and
a focused mind . I swore I am shocked how Edmund led us around the forest until
we reached our destination. We trekked about almost 6km ,with the 5kg load on our
shoulders -.- .
But still we reached all the checkpoints and decoded the 1151511 thing .
Haha, EVERYONE who went for OBS were bitten seriously badly by mosquitoes despite layers of various insect repellent coating . I got NONE. Not even one tiny one, NONE .
We had to build a raft when we reached the quarry. Unfortunately no co-operation and
communication failed our group .
But LUCKILY we still get to do quarry jump. It was very fun .
Jumping into cool fresh water :D Paradise . But that was our only shower that day.
Hmm on that day our sleeping area was fantastic, facing the sea .
FOURTH DAY
At 5.30 am Wang Shi and I woke up to do night watch for the area . We were supposed
to wake everyone up but we didn't know that and end up everyone were an hour late for
sea expedition .
I was happy when my group worked together to form a chain to bring the tri-yaks
down . Really satisfied at the team work .
So, Wang Shi , Hzi Hsin and I were in one tri-yak. And we were the sweepers so
we go last . Edmund was the navigator once again ;D
I can't tell you how much fun the sea expedition was. Just have to try it and see it
for yourselves .
We started off with a cool morning 7.30 am plus .
And the adventure starts at the Mangrove swarms .
REALLY COOL . As sweeper is the last, we slacked alot . Not that we want but
had no choice. The triyaks infront were all pretty slow so we always wait for them to
get infront of us. (we had to do a diamond shape)
Natalia's triyak keep running into the mangrove bushes HAHAHA.
Damn funny when Natalia cursed Ken and the tress HAHAHAHA , it was super
entertaining watching everyone from behind .
This is the part where we were in the swarmp .
Ahh after don't know 12 km or what we reached the shore. I could kiss the land i tell you.
We soaked ourselves into the sea water awhile and were congratulated as we reached
half an hour before the estimated time :)
Trainers allowed us to Jetty jump after cleaning the triyaks . I felt abit afraid when
i stepped onto the diving platform . I was shivering and unsure if I should jump.
And so I did and salt water went into my nose -.-
It was the happiest day for Mun Shi and Marshall . Right?
I pampered myself for a yummy bath . Felt so cleannnnn .
After that had a cooking competition . Ingredients are lameeeeee . So we don't really
have fantastic dishes .
But our sleeping area that night was disasterous . It was at the entrance of the forest .
Can you imagine how many red ants are there to bite you?! Argh !
And what's worst that night our tent's mosquito net's zip spoiled .
We had to suffocate ourself by coating the net with insect repellent . Grr .
Final Day .
Which is today. Couldn't wait to get back.
Before leaving, Jay Pal did an amazingly clever and fucking hilarious rap with
music from audiences .
Here goes,

Clever isnt it?! I was so funny I ended up crying cause I laughed so hard. ^^
Hehe then we left for Singapore .
Wang Shi, Oon Loke, Darren , Alvin, Tian Xi , Ahmir and I took bus to Hougang and
ate KFC :D
And we trained back home .
Oh so, I had enjoyed the camp. Forget about the merciless sun and not bathing
and hunger pangs and arguing with team mates .
Wouldn't have achieved the course without them and our instructor May Sze ^^
It will be very very memorable . Hehehe .
